The la strada Avanti F is equally suitable for couples and families. The Echzell-based motorhome manufacturer, which specializes in compact mobile homes, has built a large double bed under the ceiling, which is folded up during the day, and a second double bed across the rear. This means that up to four people can sleep in the la strada Avanti F, or two people can enjoy a comfortable night's sleep in separate beds. During the day, the family has plenty of space for meals or games in the seating area, which consists of a bench and swiveled driver and passenger seats. A bathroom, kitchenette, refrigerator, heated double floor, and storage cabinets in the ceiling complete the Avanti F.
The Avanti F is built on a new Fiat Ducato panel van. Avanti customers also benefit from the numerous assistance systems offered by the new Fiat Ducato: All versions come with the electronic stability program (ESP) as standard, which now also includes the load-dependent electronic rollover mitigation system, hill start assist (Hill Holder), anti-slip regulation (ASR), and electronic brake assist (EBA). On request, the new la strada Avanti F can also be equipped with an electronic lane departure warning system, traffic sign recognition, and the electronically controlled Traction+ limited-slip differential including hill descent control. With a length of 6.36 meters and a width of just over two meters, this family vehicle makes swift progress on the road. This is also ensured by the powerful turbo diesel engines with 140 to 180 horsepower. During the journey, children in the Avanti F will find two seats secured with three-point seat belts on the transverse bench of the seating area. The beds in the Avanti F are comfortable. This is ensured by a Froli disc spring system and cold foam mattresses in both double beds. The bed dimensions of 197 x 142 centimeters in the rear and 200 x 130 centimeters under the ceiling also ensure a restful night's sleep.
Ample storage space
The Avanti F's storage space is located under the rear bed. It is accessible both from the interior via a flap and from the exterior via the large wing doors on the body. This space accommodates the Avanti F's on-board technology, including the heating system, batteries, on-board electrical system, and two 11-kilogram gas bottles, as well as additional luggage. The special feature of the Avanti F storage space is that the rear section of the rear bed can be folded up across the entire width of the vehicle. This creates a generous storage space extending up to the ceiling of the motorhome. The depth is sufficient to store two bicycles crosswise in the rear.
Comfortable seating area for four
The seating area in the Avanti F, located in the front of the vehicle, is also very comfortable. By turning the cab seats, a seating area for four people is created. In the cab, new upholstery is pulled over the standard seats of the Fiat Ducato. Reinforcements and inserts provide greater strength, significantly improved ergonomics, and more lateral support. The plastic armrests of the cab seats are also covered with comfortable fabric. Equipped with two three-point seat belts, the backrest and seat of the bench can be locked in four positions: with the backrest upright for driving and with the backrest reclined and the seat moved forward for living. The convex shape of the seat back, which adapts to the back, together with the height-adjustable headrests, ensures comfortable seating in all positions. The new mosquito net for the large sliding door of the Avanti F ensures that meals in the seating area are not disturbed by uninvited guests. It can be easily slid shut with one hand and closes flush. This means that mosquitoes and other pests don't stand a chance. At the same time, cooking fumes can escape through the open sliding door.
heated double floor A rare comfort feature in the panel van motorhome class is the heated double floor. In the living area, it scores points with space for tools, shoes, and other utensils. This is ensured by different sized flaps in the floor, through which the double floor is accessible from above. When the sliding door is open, a large drawer slides out from under the kitchen unit, which can be used as storage space and an outdoor table. The warm air from the heating system is directed through the double floor, ensuring warm feet even on cold days. Additional storage space for clothing can be found in the ceiling cabinets above the rear bed and the wardrobe next to the refrigerator.
Convenient kitchen
The kitchenette is located in the middle section of the Avanti F. The recessed 2-burner gas stove has a piezo igniter, eliminating the need for matches or lighters. A fold-out work surface significantly expands the range of motion in the kitchen. There is an 80-liter refrigerator with automatic energy selection (AES) on board, which is conveniently located next to the kitchenette. The pull-out shelves under the stove and sink provide storage space for pots and pans. Smaller utensils and ingredients can be stored in the pull-out shelves opposite the stove. Two hinged doors provide access to the bathroom. This space-saving solution opens up the entire bathroom front and at the same time increases freedom of movement in the hallway.
The la strada Avanti F combines the amenities of a much larger family vehicle with the flexibility of a panel van. It would be difficult to accommodate more comfort for four people in a panel van.
