August 26, 2025, Echzell/Düsseldorf – la strada Fahrzeugbau has completely redesigned the electronics concept for all its compact motorhomes for the 2026 season. Smart caravanning will be introduced in all Avanti, Regent, and Nova models from the Hessian manufacturer in the future. Customers will then be able to check fill levels, temperature, and vehicle inclination on the new digital control panel and via an app on their smartphone. Heating, refrigerator, water pump, exterior lighting, and 12-volt power can also be switched on and off via the app. Depending on the version, this can be done in the vicinity of the vehicle or remotely from anywhere in the world. la strada will be presenting the new electronics concept for its compact motorhomes to the public for the first time at CARAVAN SALON 2025 in Hall 15, Booth D26.
The smart components of the new la strada electronics concept have been tailored to the needs of la strada customers and integrate all the electronic components available in the extensive la strada equipment list. From various batteries, refrigerators, and heaters to solar panels and routers for data connection, the elements selected by the customer are integrated into the smart caravanning solution.
In the standard version, customers can view everything on the central control panel or within a radius of 10-15 meters around the motorhome in the la strada app on their smartphone. The system uses Bluetooth transmission for this purpose. In the optional Pro version, customers can also check their motorhome remotely. This is done by establishing an internet connection via the optional Wi-Fi router. In addition, the Pro version also includes GPS tracking of the motorhome, which enables the police to quickly locate and return the vehicle in the event of theft.
