Düsseldorf, August 28, 2023 – Anne Gadaix has reason to celebrate. At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, the lucky winner of the EU-wide competition run by popular shoe brand Rieker received her grand prize: a la strada Avanti EB worth €90,000. Out of more than 275,000 participants from all over continental Europe, luck smiled on the Frenchwoman from near Lyon. Today, at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, she received the car keys from Rieker Marketing Director Robert Moldoveanu and la strada Business Manager Marco Lange.
"I'm not giving it back," says Anne Gadaix happily. "I've always dreamed of owning a motorhome, and then to win such a high-quality model – I can hardly believe my luck." In an EU-wide advertising campaign with a media budget of over €3 million, Rieker raffled off the la strada Avanti EB as the main prize in print, poster, and TV commercials. "We were delighted with the positive response to the competition," explains Robert Moldoveanu, Director of Marketing & Communications at Rieker. "This underlines the popularity of our shoe brand and the loyalty of our customers, but also confirms the attractiveness of the prizes that were raffled off." In addition to a la strada Avanti EB as the main prize, buyers of Rieker shoes could also win high-quality e-bikes, gas grills, SUP boards, Bluetooth speakers and headphones, as well as cash prizes.
Anne Gadaix is delighted with the la strada Avanti EB, a compact yet comfortable motorhome for two people. A 9-speed automatic transmission, rearview camera, and radio with DAB, 7" screen, and Apple Car Play/Android Auto make driving a breeze. Single beds with disc springs and comfortable cold foam mattresses ensure a restful night's sleep. A compact bathroom with shower option is available for daily hygiene.
