At CARAVAN SALON 2023 in Düsseldorf, la strada will be presenting its new model, the la strada Avanti EBF, in Hall 15, Stand D 26. The converted Fiat Ducato panel van offers sleeping space and storage for four people in a length of 6.36 meters. Two single beds in the rear and a fold-down bed for two people in the front ensure a high level of sleeping comfort. The variable rear storage space and storage compartments in the heated double floor can also accommodate bulky luggage and utensils. Engines with 140 to 180 horsepower propel the 3.5-ton motorhome forward at a brisk pace.
The fold-down bed in the front of the motorhome lowers onto two gas springs mounted on sturdy supports attached to the furniture. It rests securely here without any jolting or wobbling. At the foot end, the fold-down bed is 1.75 meters long on the driver's side and 2.00 meters long on the passenger side. The overall width is 130 centimeters. Two LED reading lights are mounted on the ceiling above the fold-down bed at the head end. In addition, a skylight and an optional side window provide light and ventilation. Two illuminated shelves to the left and right of the fold-down bed are practical for books, reading glasses, cell phones, or tablets.
Both the fold-down bed and the single beds in the rear are equipped with Froli disc springs and high-quality cold foam mattresses. The single beds in the rear of the la strada Avanti EBF are arranged lengthwise and vary in length from 1.95 meters to 1.85 meters. They can be converted into an almost 2×2-meter sleeping area in just a few simple steps. There is plenty of storage space for laundry and other items under the single beds. If you need to store clothes on hangers, there is space for this under the single bed on the passenger side. Under the bed on the driver's side, there are two large pull-out drawers for folded clothing. Roof cabinets are located around the single beds in the rear.
A conversion to the bed creates a rear garage: the rear section of the rear bed can be folded up across the entire width of the vehicle. This creates a generous rear storage space extending up to the ceiling of the motorhome. Two normal-sized bicycles can also be stored here crosswise. Nevertheless, the front half of the beds remains a comfortable sleeping space for one person.
The bathroom is concealed behind two space-saving hinged doors on the driver's side in front of the single beds. A toilet, sink, and wall cabinet are available for daily hygiene. The hand shower for the sink can be pulled out and attached to a shower rail. Opening the double doors creates more freedom of movement in the rear. If necessary, a curtain can also be used to separate the living area and the fold-down bed from the sleeping area in the rear.
Opposite the bathroom on the passenger side is the kitchen unit. It has a two-burner stove with piezo ignition and a solid cast-iron pot rack. The stove and spacious sink are made of stainless steel and are therefore easy to clean. To the right, at a convenient height, is an 80-liter absorption refrigerator with automatic energy selection. Above and below the refrigerator are cabinets, some with roller blinds, some as pull-outs. Spacious pull-outs under the stove and sink provide easy access to cooking utensils. A fold-out worktop extends the working area in the kitchen when needed.
The seating area is located in the front of the vehicle and consists of one bench seat and swivel cab seats. The bench seat is equipped with two three-point seat belts and can be adjusted to various seating positions. The window seat has an Isofix mount with top tether for child seats. A large table is attached to the side wall. It is supported by a stand in the middle of the vehicle and can be extended towards the passenger seat with a swivel plate. This allows up to four people to eat or play comfortably around the table.
The la strada Avanti EBF is a compact motorhome for up to four people. With a base price of €76,433, it combines driving, living, and sleeping comfort with high-quality workmanship.
