The Avanti L is the perennial favorite in the la strada Fahrzeugbau GmbH range. The model has been available since the early 1990s and has undergone several facelifts since then. The rear half of the bed can be folded up vertically from the rear, significantly increasing the storage space above. This space accommodates the Avanti L's on-board technology, including the water tank, batteries, on-board electrical system, and two 11-kilogram gas bottles, as well as additional luggage. The heater is located under the bench seat in the front of the vehicle. This means that sensitive sleepers are no longer disturbed by heating noises.
In the middle section of the panel van motorhome, the bathroom is now accessible via two hinged doors. The bathroom features a Dometic CT 3000 ceramic toilet and various storage options. Opposite is the kitchenette. The recessed 2-burner gas stove has an electric ignition. A fold-out work surface significantly expands the range of activities in the kitchen. There is also an 80-liter refrigerator on board, which is conveniently located next to the kitchenette. The pull-out shelves under the stove and sink provide storage space for pots and pans.
The half dinette is located in the front area. By turning the driver's seat, this can be converted into a seating area for up to 4 people. The new swivel table is extremely practical: the lower table top can be swiveled out in no time at all, significantly increasing the table surface area. The new swivel table has also improved the optional bed conversion of the half dinette. On request, a third sleeping space measuring 185 x 60 cm can now be created, which is located across from the driver's cab.
The furniture in the Avanti series is available in various wood finishes. The standard Avanti model is built in a light maple wood finish. Nine additional furniture finishes are available as options at extra cost. There are also eight colors to choose from for the furniture doors. All finishes are made of scratch-resistant laminate, which further emphasizes the high-quality workmanship.
The La Strada Avanti L panel van motorhome impresses with its compact dimensions and good handling. It is just under six meters long and just over two meters wide. This means that the vehicle can navigate tight corners and narrow roads. What's more, the Avanti L is also fast on the road.
