In 2017, la strada Fahrzeugbau GmbH presented the 5.99-meter-long Avanti H. Now it has a big brother: the Avanti H PLUS, which is 6.36 meters long. The additional 37 centimeters benefit the rear storage space. Two folding shelf systems and a side cabinet with roller blinds make the rear storage space extremely versatile. Together with the heated double floor throughout, including storage flaps in the living area, two wardrobes, a large refrigerator, and what is probably the largest bathroom in this vehicle class, the la strada Avanti H PLUS is a true space miracle.
Therear storage spaceof the Avanti H PLUS is very spacious thanks to the additional 37 centimeters of length compared to its little brother, the H. On the left, foldable intermediate shelves create several variable storage compartments. If necessary, the table can also be stored here while driving. The double floor under the bathroom easily accommodates smaller camping furniture, water hoses, or leveling wedges. Tools, electrical cables, and other small items can be stored in the compartments on the right-hand side, which can be closed with roller blinds. La strada has developed an optional lashing system with foldable shelves for the rear wall of the bathroom. When the shelves are folded down, camping chairs, loungers, or other larger items can be securely fastened to the lashing eyes. Alternatively, the shelves can be folded out, creating two additional levels for storing folding boxes and other items. This allows the approximately 50 centimeters between the rear wall of the bathroom and the rear doors to be fully utilized vertically. The lift-and-tilt window in the roof offers an unobstructed view of the starry sky and additional ventilation on warm summer nights. Evening reading is illuminated by two LED spotlights in the velour-covered ceiling. The optional side window on the driver's side provides fresh air and a view of the landscape. During the day, the bed is folded up under the ceiling, freeing up the space above the seating area.
The H PLUSseating areaincludes a bench seat with fixed upholstery and optional mounting points for an Isofix child seat in the window seat. The backrest and seat can be locked in different positions. The convex shape of the seat backrest, which adapts to the back, ensures comfortable seating in all positions. The bench seat is equipped with two three-point seat belts. On the right is a cupboard for clothes on hangers, which can also be fitted with shelves for folded clothing. On the passenger side are cupboards, storage compartments, and pull-out drawers for bulky kitchen utensils and the optional TV. Opposite, at a back-friendly height, a large slim tower refrigerator is waiting to be filled with delicacies from faraway countries. It has a maximum capacity of 138 liters when the removable 10-liter freezer compartment is removed. In front of the refrigerator is another row of four large pull-out drawers for kitchen utensils.
Inthe kitchen unitopposite the seating area, a wide drawer holds the cutlery and cooking utensils. The large wooden surface underneath is the back wall of the gas locker. This is located directly behind the sliding door under the stove. This makes it easy to access from the outside and facilitates changing the gas bottles. The kitchen also features a three-burner gas stove with electric ignition and a stainless steel sink. The highlight of the kitchen is two additional work surfaces. One can be folded up on the left side of the kitchen unit as needed, while the other can be pulled out of the storage cabinet on the right. There is even room in the kitchen for a small pull-out spice rack.
