With the la strada Avanti EB, the Hessian motorhome manufacturer presents a converted panel van with single beds and plenty of storage space. Based on the Fiat Ducato, this motorhome focuses on sleeping comfort without neglecting other functions. A comfortable seating area, kitchen, bathroom, and even a heated double floor are all on board. With a length of 6.36 meters, the Avanti EB offers two people a high level of comfort in a compact space. The versatile conversion options for the bed in the rear ensure flexibility for everyday use. Engines with 140 to 180 horsepower propel the motorhome forward at a brisk pace.
The single beds in the rear of the la strada Avanti EB are arranged lengthwise and vary in length from 1.95 meters to 1.85 meters. The versatility of the two sleeping areas is remarkable. They can be converted into an almost 2×2-meter reclining area in just a few simple steps. Froli disc springs and cold foam mattresses ensure a restful night's sleep across the entire surface. This transforms the Avanti EB into a comfortable sleeper. There is plenty of storage space under the bed for laundry and other items. If you need to store clothes on hangers, you can hang them under the bed from the outside. La strada has installed two rods under the bed for this purpose. A further conversion of the bed creates a rear garage. The rear part of the rear bed can be folded up across the entire width of the vehicle. This creates a generous storage space up to the ceiling of the motorhome. Nevertheless, the front half of the beds remains a comfortable sleeping space for one person.
There is still enough room for a bathroom in front of the single beds. There is plenty of space for a toilet, sink, and cabinets. Between the kitchen and the bedroom, there is space at head height for an optional TV, which can be swiveled toward the bed or the seating area.
Convenient kitchen
The kitchenette is located in the middle section of the Avanti EB. The 2-burner gas stove with a sturdy cast-iron pot rack has a piezo igniter, eliminating the need for matches or a lighter. A fold-out work surface significantly expands the range of motion in the kitchen. Above, next to, and below the 80-liter refrigerator with automatic energy selection, there are cabinets, some with roller blinds and some as pull-outs. Spacious pull-outs under the stove and sink provide easy access to cooking utensils. The mosquito screen for the large sliding door ensures that meals are not disturbed by uninvited guests. It can be easily closed with one hand and fits flush with the door frame. This means that mosquitoes and other pests don't stand a chance. At the same time, cooking fumes can escape through the open sliding door.
Comfortable seating area for four
The seating area in the Avanti EB, located in the front of the vehicle, is also very comfortable. By turning the cab seats, you can create a seating area for up to four people. In the cab, new upholstery is pulled over the standard seats of the Fiat Ducato. Reinforcements and inserts provide greater stability, significantly improved ergonomics, and more lateral support. The armrests of the cab seats are also covered with comfortable fabric. The bench seat in the semi-dinette is equipped with two three-point seat belts and an Isofix mount with top tether at the window seat. The rear bench and seat can be moved: with the backrest upright for driving and with the backrest reclined and the seat moved forward for living. The convex shape of the seat backrest, which adapts to the back, together with the height-adjustable headrests, ensures comfortable seating in all positions.
heated double floor A rare comfort feature in the panel van motorhome class is the heated double floor. In the living area, it scores points with space for tools, shoes, and other utensils. This is ensured by different sized flaps in the floor, through which the double floor is accessible from above. When the sliding door is open, a large drawer slides out from under the kitchen unit, which can be used as storage space and an outdoor table. The warm air from the heating system is directed through the double floor, ensuring warm feet even on cold days. Thanks to its flexible bed concept, heated double floor, and comfortable seating area, the la strada Avanti EB is a comfortable sleeper for two.
