With the la strada Avanti EB, the Hessian motorhome manufacturer presents an extended box van with single beds and plenty of storage space. The motorhome based on the Fiat Ducato thus focuses on sleeping comfort without neglecting the other functions. A comfortable seating area, kitchen, bathroom and even a heated double floor are on board. On a length of 6.36 metres, the Avanti EB offers two people high comfort in a compact space. The bed in the stern can be converted to suit everyday use in a wide variety of ways. Engines with 140 to 180 horsepower move the motorhome forward rapidly.
The single beds at the rear of the la strada Avanti EB are arranged longitudinally and vary in length between 1.95 and 1.85 metres. The ability of the two berths to transform is remarkable. They can be converted into an almost 2x2-metre sunbathing lawn in just a few simple steps. Froli disc springs and cold foam mattresses ensure a restful night's sleep over the entire area. This makes the Avanti EB a comfortable sleeping car. Under the bed there is plenty of storage space for linen and other utensils. If you need to store clothes on hangers, you can hang them under the bed from the outside. La strada has built two poles under the bed for this purpose. Another conversion of the bed creates a rear garage. The rear part of the rear bed can be folded up over the entire width of the vehicle. This creates ample storage space up to the ceiling of the motorhome. Nevertheless, the front half of the beds retains a comfortable place to sleep for one person.
In front of the single beds there is enough room for a bath. The toilet, washbasin and cupboards have plenty of space. Between the kitchen and bedroom there is room at head height for the optional TV, which can be swivelled towards the bed or suite.
Comfortable kitchen
In the middle part of the Avanti EB is the kitchenette. The 2-flame gas cooker is fitted with a piezo igniter, which eliminates the need for a match or lighter. A fold-out work surface significantly extends the radius of action in the kitchen. Above, next to and below the 80 litre refrigerator there are cupboards, some with roller blinds, some as pull-outs. Spacious drawers under the stove and sink provide easy access to the cooking utensils. The mosquito net for the large sliding door ensures that meals are not disturbed by uninvited guests. It can easily be closed with one hand and closes flush. So mosquitoes and other pests don't stand a chance. The open sliding door also allows cooking fumes to escape to the outside.
Comfortable seating group for four
The Avanti EB seating group, which is located in the front part of the vehicle, is also a comfortable place to be. By turning the cab seats, you can create a seating group for up to 4 people. In the cab, a new upholstery is pulled over the standard seats of the Fiat Ducato. Reinforcements and inlays provide more strength, significantly improved ergonomics and more lateral support. The armrests of the cab seats are also given a pleasant fabric cover. The semi-dinette's bench seat is equipped with two three-point belts and Isofix on the windows seat. The rear bench and seat can slided into different positions: With vertical backrest for driving and with reclined backrest and advanced seat for residential use. The convex shape of the seat back, which adapts to the back, together with the height-adjustable headrests, ensures comfortable sitting in all positions.
Heated raised floor
A rare comfort feature in the panel van motorhome class is the heated raised floor. In the living area it scores with space for tools, shoes and other utensils. This is ensured by flaps of different sizes in the floor, through which the raised floor is accessible from above. When the sliding door is open, a large drawer extends under the kitchen block, which can also be used as storage space and an outside table. The warm air from the heating system, which passes through the raised floor, keeps feet warm even on cold days.
Thanks to its flexible bed concept, heated double floor and comfortable seating area, the la strada Avanti EB becomes a comfortable sleeping car for two.
