At the coming CARAVAN SALON in Düsseldorf la strada Fahrzeugbau GmbH will introduce its popular Avanti product range on the newest Fiat Ducato. In hall 15 on the stand D 26, the German manufacturer will at first exhibit the layouts Avanti C, Avanti EB and Avanti XL on the new Fiat Ducato. Besides the new engines which run cleaner and more efficiently, la strada integrated numerous assistant systems and multimedia functions of the new Ducato into the model year 2022 Avanti portfolio. The available features lead to a major improvement of the driving comfort. The two product ranges Regent and Nova obtain the latest engines as well as the new four-wheel-drive from Mercedes Benz.
Avanti
The exterior appearance of the la strada Avanti product range only changes minimally for the season 2022. The most noticeable changes are the new Fiat lettering in the radiator grill, the optional LED headlights and various elective 18 inch wheels. The new Avanti makes a huge step forward though in regard of the driving comfort. One of the visible improvements is a new designed dashboard with either a 7 or a 10 inch large multimedia package from Fiat. The new steering wheel does not only look good and fit perfectly in the driver’s hands, it also guides the electric power steering which pilots the Avanti through traffic much more precisely. Furthermore, the electric hand brake increases the comfort while park assistant systems ease the manipulation.
la strada disposed the numerous Fiat Ducato assistant systems into three optional Technic Packages, which are independently available. One package features the autonomous emergency brake control, the lane control system with adaptive high beam and traffic sign recognition, a rain and dusk sensor as well as the blind spot assist. The next package includes the adaptive cruise control (ACC), the intelligent speed assist and an attention assistant. Another Technic Package contains the function keyless entry & go, a wireless phone charging port, the 10" navigation system, the digital dashboard, the automatic air condition and a 230V socket in the cabin.
For the season 2022, the engine range of all Avanti layouts starts with the standard 140 Multijet 3 with 103 kW (140 HP) and 350 newton meter torque. The engines 160 Multijet 3 with 118 kW (160 HP) and 380 newton meter torque as well as 180 Multijet 3 with 132 kW (180 HP) and 380 newton meter torque are optionally available. All engines dispose of the dual AdBlue injectors and meet the Euro VI E emission standards.
Regent and Nova
For the new season 2022 la strada also adapts its product ranges Regent and Nova to the newest Mercedes Benz engines. For both series the standard engine will be the 125 kW (170 HP) motor while the 140 kW (190 HP) version will be optionally available. Of course, both performances fulfil the Euro VI E emission standards. In combination with the new 9G-Tronic automatic gear-box, the two Nova layouts as well as the Regent S can be ordered with the new Mercedes Sprinter 4matic four-wheel-drive.
