The Avanti L is a classic in the catalogue of la strada Fahrzeugbau GmbH. In the panoply since the beginning of the 90ies the model has already been reinvented several times. For the 2017 edition la strada presents the best-seller in a grand style. More sleeping comfort and increased variability are the strong points of the new floor plan. Also with the new Avanti L la strada intends to set standards of high quality in this van segment. The motorhome’s new rear bed offers excellent sleeping comfort with the Froli system and a mattress featuring high-quality cores made of cold foam on 197 x 145cm. Under the bed the rear garage storage room is located, accessible not only by the rear doors but also by a small door from inside the van. At the rear of the vehicle, the back part of the bed can be lifted up to enlarge the back storage of the van. The on-board technical equipment is mounted in the rear part as well as the fresh water tank, the batteries, the electronic equipment, two 11kg gas bottles and last but not least additional luggage if desired. The heating is now placed under the seating bench in the middle part of the van so that a recovering sleep may not disturbed by any operating noise.
Between the bed and the seating lounge opposite of the kitchen block the bathroom is now accessible by a double wing door. Inside you can find a Dometic CT 3000 ceramic toilet and many storage options. In the kitchen the sunken 2-flame-cooker has a piezo spark ignition. An additional working board can be folded up which enlarges the possibilities within the kitchen. Also on board is a refrigerator with an 80 litre capacity, located next to the kitchen furniture offering easy access in working height. Large drawers underneath the sink and the cooker grant enough space for different pots and pans.
In the front part of the van, a half-dinette invites you to relax. By turning the cabin seats even 4 people can sit around the new table with swivelling extension. Within 1 second the extension can be swivelled out and enlarges the table surface considerably. Together with the new table the option “third bed” has also been significantly improved. The half-dinette can optionally be transformed into a third sleeping place of 185 x 60 cm, crosswise to the driving direction.
The Avanti layouts are offered in various wooden panelling. The serial wood colour of an Avanti is Maple. Optionally one can chose between 9 further wood colours. Additionally there are 8 different coloured, straight traps. All wooden décors are made off scratch resistant CPL surface which underlines once more the high class fabrication.
The campervan Avanti L convinces by his compact measures an excellent handling. Still under 6m long and only a little larger than 2m it rides easily along sharp curves and narrow roads. With engines from 140 to 180 HP the Avanti L stays a very dynamic van.

The la strada Fahrzeugbau GmbH is a van conversion manufacturer specialized in compact vans. During its 30 years of existence the company situated in the Hessian village Echzell established itself as a premium manufacturer in the campervan segment. Started as a small family business the motorhome manufactory developed into a small batch production acting all over Europe. Today 45 employees under the management of the owners Marco Lange and Andreas Dalchow build 10 different models in the 3 type series Avanti, Regent and Nova. The chassis are mainly provided from Fiat (Ducato) and Mercedes (Sprinter).
